Senior Project Manager
Department: Consulting
Location: Remote
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Secure Ideas is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of client engagements from kickoff through completion. This is a full-time, dedicated role: the Senior Project Manager is the steward of each project and is expected to know more about the status, risks, and plan for a given engagement than any other team member.
You will own the client relationship day-to-day, coordinate with the consulting team, and ensure every engagement is delivered on time, on scope, and to a consistently professional standard that reflects Secure Ideas' reputation as an industry leader. Success in this role requires attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to a successful conclusion.

- Partner with the Sales team to ensure that projects are scheduled appropriately to meet client timelines.
- Prepare for and complete project milestones in a timely manner, in accordance with established SLA requirements and timelines.
- Proactively monitor project progress and identify risks; know when a project should be considered "blocked" and drive the next steps needed to get it back on track.
- Escalate issues, delays, or resourcing conflicts to leadership promptly and with enough context for a fast decision.
- Coordinate resourcing and scheduling across consultants to ensure engagements are adequately staffed and deadlines are achievable.
- Track and report on project status, utilization, and SLA adherence to leadership on a regular cadence.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation, including scope, timelines, and client communications.
- Partner with the technical editing/reporting function to ensure deliverables meet Secure Ideas' quality bar before reaching the client.
Client-Facing Requirements
- Attend and lead all formal kickoff meetings with clients, laying out the agenda, completing introductions, and setting the tone before handing the meeting off to the lead consultant.
- Communicate with clients regularly and proactively throughout the engagement, ensuring they are informed of progress, risks, and next steps at all times.
Internal Communication & Team Leadership
- Attend all pre-kickoff meetings.
- Maintain regular communication with consultants on each project to monitor progress and surface issues early.
- Clearly communicate expectations, deliverable requirements, and deadlines to the project team.
- Coordinate coverage with other PMs and consultants when out of office (PTO, appointments, etc.) so client and project needs continue to be met in your absence.
Availability & Work Expectations
- This is a full-time role requiring availability Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Consistent adherence to Secure Ideas' project management procedures and SLA timelines is mandatory for every assigned project.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail or client experience.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and manage client relationships professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort operating as the single point of accountability for a project's success.
