In February of this year, Mic posted a blog discussing the future of SamuraiWTF. As we discussed then, the build process that has supported this project for the last decade is WAY too difficult to maintain. So, we are changing it.

We are excited to announce the results of this rebuild are now able to be called stable and a production release is available! There are lots of changes here and we still have a ton of work we want to accomplish, but we think that this is a build that people can start using in their daily learning and testing tasks.

The Vagrantfile and the supporting code/resources are available at GitHub. We welcome any pull requests and issue reports, as well as feature requests there.

If you aren't interested in building from source/Vagrant, or you just want to jump in and try it out, feel free to download the OVA file.

Personally we feel that this is a great way to celebrate 10 years of learning and testing web applications via SamuraiWTF!
